In May 2016, my classmates and I travelled to Kigali -Rwanda, to work with students at the Akilah Institute for Women, a college dedicated to enabling young women to achieve economic independence and obtain leadership roles in the workplace and society.
Understanding the Entrepreneurs

I held a series of design workshop sessions to help mentor the 5 students throughout the program. I helped students establish a business plan, create websites, and commercialize their products.
